I feel it is my duty to make a thread like this known, as I personally find the avatar size limit on these forums particularly annoying. Whenever I find an image appropriate for my avatar interests, nearly 95% of the time when I try to apply it on this forum, the image becomes so small that the detail and beauty of the original is wasted, and I have to go through many trying to find another. I feel it would be beneficial to increase it to something more substantial, as what with being a regular forum-trawler, I have found anything between 100x100 pixels, to a particularly generous 150x150 on other sites (I also believe that in the original-original of Lordoftherings.org, the avatar size was 100x100). Though this may seem like a simple cosmetic issue, I believe the avatars and signatures work to illustrate the personal and creative differences between members, and, as an artistic person myself, know how important these seemingly trivial things mean to people.

Many thanks.

Agreed. My poor Radiohead mouse ( < ) has become strangely mutilated during transformation.

for limitations is it possible to choose the area you want to display instead of just shrinking the whole thing?

I'm rather inclined to agree; would it be possible to bring back the 100x100?
