I was just wondering because of the main theme of this forum, has any of you played D&D?I believe that many of you here would love this game(especially Beren btw dark elf trilogy is based on the dnd world  and all of salvatore's work in general)

I played through high school and University and then moved away.
My husband, however, still plays with the same group of guys he met at the DnD club in high school.  They play Harnmaster now, but they have been playing as a group for almost 30 years!!!

Never played.  I always heard more of the negative aspect of these DND groups - i.e. suicides, etc.  I'm not entirely oppossed to them, but haven't got into them at all.

I would always have found a Dungeons and Dragons group interesting if there was one near me I knew of, but this lack or inability to find them on my part means that I alone have a very tricky job of understanding the game and how it is played. I would prefer to have someone tell me how the game works rather than attempt to revise the books myself, although I will not deny that the books are very interesting, and I have some of them in my possession- also including those that came with an original version of the game which I found in a jumble sale. Next to that I also have the hardback book of D&D monsters, which is a very good read, and has some stunning illustrations.

Well Beren don't hear these views these extreme actions are done by people that have psychological problems and not by casual guys.DnD is a a game that you just sit to a chair and play with your friends nothing bad about it i guess.

Well yes it takes along to set it up but since u begin it you will love it.It's the only game that you can do whatever you like with the easiest way...using your   creativity and imagination.

Wow that's extreme - all of my DnD friends are pretty nerdy, quiet, bookish and alternative, but VERY happy!!!  It's another way to escape - like watching a movie or reading a book.
