Well in the spirit of all this getting to know each other, I want to know what are all your favorite movies besides LOTR.

Mine are:
The who would be King
All six star wars
King Kong
Saving Private Ryan
A bridge too far
The Great Escape
A clockwork orange
Farenheit 451
One flew over the Cuckoo's nets
Monty-Python and the Holy Grail
X-men 1, 2, and 3
The longest Day
The longest yard (The Old one)
El Dorado (the western not the cartoon)
Ben-Hur
Psycho
Lawrence of Arabia
north by Northwest
Jaws (definitly not the 2nd or 3rd one)
Ace ventura, Pet Detective
and last but not least, The Truman Show (Jim Carey is so funny)

(im a Movie Buff, so i have a lot)

Well first and most part LOTR is and will always be my number one favorite movie of all time. But I do have some I like, just not as much.

Dirty Dancing
Purple Rain
Somewhere in time
Grease
Grease 2
Cold Mountain
All the Star Wars Movies
Monty Python And The Holy Grail
all the X Men movies
King Arthur
The Three Muskateers

There are a lot more, but I can't seem to remember any of them right now.

The Lost World (Not the very first black and white one, but the second one which was in colour, but made way before all the Jurassic Park's)

I just now finally got to see the movie "Tristan & Isolde" and it was very good, my kind of movie and made me cry. So I would like to add to my list of movies I like besides LOTR it would be:

Tristan & Isolde
Man Behind The Iron Mask (with Leonardo Dicaprio(sp)).

In the Heat of the Night (This is 1 of my favorite movies, don't know how i missed it.)

I was thinking lastnight and remembered a few others I liked.

The Karate Kid 1,2, & 3. (Didn't like the 4th one as much with the girl instead of the boy).
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the 1st one).
