I'm useless at console games but I've a got a PC game called Lord of the Rings Online (like WoW but.......different!). It's set in Middle earth around the time of Lord of the Rings.
It's an online game (obviously).
Characters can level up to 50.
There are 4 races - Elf, Hobbit, Man, Dwarf
and 7 classes - Loremaster (Healer/mage), Champion (Melee/damage dealer), Guardian (Tank/aggro taker), Minstrel (Healer/ranged fighter), Hunter (ranged fighter), Burglar (traps & tricks) and Captain (Leader/melee/some healing).
You can have 5 characters on each server and you can play on more than one server if you like. There is also a Roleplay (RP) server. You can create kinships (think they're called Guilds in WoW, and you can do solo quests or fellowships (groups in WoW).
I play on the European RP server called Laurelin and have a hobbit minstrel called Shiona lvl 28 and an Elf Loremaster called Fielanor lvl 20.
You can spar with other players, and you can also indulge in a bit of player vs monster-player in a separate region called the Ettenmoors (so it doesn't scare the little hobbits in the Shire!). To play as a "Freep" you need to be lvl 40 or above. To play as a "creep" you need to be lvl 15 to create a creep monster.
My "creep" is a nasty Orc Reaver called Bakshak that I play now & again when I'm hungry for dwarf meat fresh off the bone........
