Has anyone seen it?
What did you think?

I didn't like it. Not exactly because they left out too much, cause that's unavoidable. But the end was far too climactic. If you use flashbacks at all in a series of movies, you should save it for the last one, not when there's still two more coming! I personally think that having a really climactic fifth movie will take away from the last one.
I also am extremely disappointed that they cut down Snape's Worst Memory. I mean yeah, it wasn't that important of a scene, and I should have been grateful that they had it at all, but I was looking forward to seeing young Remus and they never showed him.  Cry

I liked it alot and since I haven't read the book then I didn't miss anything. My favorite parts was the kiss between Harry and the girl in front of the mirror, and the fight at the end.

This was my least favourite book, so I was not expecting it to be my favourite movie.  That said, I was disappointed too.  It seemed choppy, and some of the things that I thought were integral to the plot were either skimmed over or skipped.

I thought that Harry's anger with Dumbledore was not given enough attention, and the occlumens, and the Order of the Phoenix itself, and Tonks!

I thought Umbridge was perfect, as were all the other actors.  I also liked Helena Bonham Carter but my husband thought she overdid it.  I also LOVED Luna Lovegood - I thought she was perfect.

I enjoyed it as a movie.  Compared to the book it sucked, though.  They cut stuff out, but still managed to make the movie flow.  The third movie, for example, cut stuff out and stumbled akwardly around the corners it created for itself.
Except for the Room of Requirement and the Department of Mysteries, the movie came really close to how I imagined the things in the book, which probably made me like it more.

And yeah, it was way too short for an 800-page book.

Hmmm, I haven't seen it but I've heard so many bad reviews...I'll keep an open mind. The book made me cry tho...but My opinion, if they'd have used the same director/producer/screenwriter, maybe this wouldn't happen...thank God Peter Jackson did the LotR all at once and he was the only one to have his hands on it...has anyone heard anymore about the Hobbit movie? Speaking of which someone said they couldn't make it at all.

I've just watched it. And didn't like it. On the other hand, I don't like ANY of the HP movies so maybe it isn't such a loss.
Some places were bluntly wrong, though. I mean, they absolutely didn't show the point, reason or whatever about the actual *order of the phoenix*. It's the title of the movie, guys, give it some thought. And some things are so messy and rushed, it hurts. Urgh. I'll just go watch Smokin' Aces again instead.

I liked parts of it. The battle scene at the end was good. Although compared to the book it wasn nothing. They could have put more into it, made it longer. It was the longest book but shortest film!

I liked it. Definitely a lot left out, but I've grown used to this. It had also been at least a year since I read the book, so that helped.
Luna Lovegood was INDEED perfect! Umbridge too.
I remember when I was reading the book, thinking that the first thing they would do at auditions for the part of Bellatrix would be to have her cackle.  laugh  Then when I saw Helena Bonham Carter playing the part, I was like "OF COURSE that's who's playing her!"
