Hi,
I'm arthedain. New since last week. I really just wanted to get reinvolved in the online lotr community after being out for a couple of years.
I have been trying to finish a very long story I have written called Korin's Journey and if anyone would like to read it in it's entirety, let me know. it's not slash or anything. it's about a new character I introduce into the war of the ring at the edge of Fangorn Forest where Aragorn and Legolas and Gimli are searching for their Hobbit friends.
Hope to meet some obsessive fans like myself.

Yes, welcome, Arthedain and Follower!
It is really nice to see new faces here, and to know that there are still people out there who like LotR.

Welcome melanin! We're glad that someone of your enthusiasm joined!
Hey, I also enjoy the works of Charles de Lint. And I admire your dedication- three years? I myself have not yet mustered enough self-motivation to learn Elvish...

Welcome to the site Almyro.  Great to see some new blood here.  Can't help you with the Anglo-Saxon thing.  Do a google search, that might be a place to start.   Cheesy

Almyro: I often use a site called EOW. It's sort of like an online translator for Old English, or Anglo Saxon as it is properly known, and can be extremely useful, particularly in the sense of names, pronunciation and declensions. http://wandership.ca/projects/eow/

It also contains links to other sites of similar context.
