Hmm, I'm thinking of Gilbert Ryle but that probably isn't correct.

So I'm going to go with Bertrand Russel, who's pacifism in the first World War probably pissed off a lot of people. Further, as he was IIRC (it's been years since I did my esc. phil.) of the Analytical movement, he might have well attacked religion, though I can't distinctly remember it being mentioned.

Bertrand Russell is in fact the correct answer.  Good job Pulsifer!  Russell in fact wrote an essay, which I have in my library, entitled: "Why I'm not a Christian."  I am a devout Christian, and couldn't pass up buying/reading that title.  I always have enjoyed dabbling in views that are oppossed to mine.  Since then I have read some of his other works as well.

Go for it Pulsifer!  Your turn . . .

Woot, lucky guess Wink (Actually, my repertoire of famous 20th century british philosophers is limited to Moore, Ryle and Russell, but I digress)

My question;

To which natural phenomenon did Sun Tzu declare warfare most similiar to, and why?

I think the answer is Water. Primarily because water has no fixed shape and becomes what it is encompassed in which is the same for soldiers as well since a soldier is also determined by the enemy he is battling.

^ If that made sense laugh

Ach! Just moved into a new dorm and my internet has been absent until, say, two hours ago.

Sorry - but yeah, Heru nailed it as I expected. (Tell me honestly - did ya google it? Wink )

I can't come up with a question off the top of my head - so someone, come on!

I was tempted to in order to frame my answer right but I tried my best to recollect from first year in college where we had to write an essay on The Art of War applied to Business Management (I'm a Business major).

Here's a question for you guys:

What was the name of the first film Sylvester Stallone acted in? (I'd be surprised if any of you had this your collection Tongue)

Italian Stallion?

(If that is correct, the only reason I'd know that is because I looked up Stallone's filmography...)

Heeey, I heard about Italian Stallion! In one of those stupid shows on TV. They even showed bits and pieces!

(Heru, YOU own this, do you? I wouldn't even be surprised, actually!)

Well, Italian Stallion is not technically correct, since its the edited and re-released version of Party at Kitty and Stud's which was the title of the original porno. However, its close enough, so go ahead Monky, ask a question.

I don't own the movie, but its available... Tongue

Since noone seems to know this one I'll give youa all a few hints.

1. Beren: You were right about the country being England
2. The rollercoaster is a steel inverted coaster

But the question is what amusement park holds the record, not the name of the rollercoaster itself, right?
