Anyone have any life lessons they've learned?  They can be funny or more on the serious side.

Here are a few I learned in the past couple days:
-When working with a hot glue gun, take care to avoid getting any on yourself.
-If the above does happen, and you get some on one finger, wait until it cools before you try and get it off with the other finger, because then both fingers will hurt like crap.
-If you have newspaper spread out and are working with hot glue over it, WATCH WHERE YOU PUT YOUR HAND!!!!!!
-If a really annoying person goes to Puerto Rico for a month, it doesn't mean they won't call you.

When I get a little money, I buy books.  If there's any left over, I buy food.

Fuck this, I'm going to Hogwarts!

To those who'd ground me/Take a message back from me/Tell them how I'm defying gravity.

- When the sign says 'Don't feed the animals' it means it, even with sheep.
- Hawks do not appreciate flash photography.
- Chain exam timetables to your shin if you ever want to see them again after you get them.
- Making an entire man from cardboard can sometimes freak house visitors out when you dress it in your own clothes.
- There are few greater feelings than leaving high school for good, then realising how fantastic college can be. I'm at a stage now where college is almost done (last exam today) and I'll only go back for my art presentation evening. I know I will miss few more than my art teachers themselves, who have been as good as best friends to me during this time.

-Sometimes having restraint and holding your tongue is the best decision when you are really mad.  Anger can often be irrational.
-Trials and "tough times" build character.
-I wouldn't have gotten anywhere in my life without having a strong sense of determination for what I have been gifted in.

Be sure not to go so wrapped up in trying to get your work done that you forget to drink enough water when you're lifting and hauling plants in 110 degree heat for 10 hours. I did that yesterday, and I'm still paying for it.  No

When you are in a building with a lot of poles around, watch where you are going!
