Hey, I liked your flag, I guess it kept me a little more warm than freezing. (Maybe, just maybe my 'wear less, dry faster' doesn't work with nonstop rain). But hey, I needed my flag for Leningrad Cheesy

I've been very close to meeting Heru a few times now. I've been about 15 minutes away from him, without a phone, and in the same country a few times. But it's never quite played out.....

(And to follow a trend, if I've got this right, here is a picture of me....)

Admit it, the Appy Fizz in Mumbai Airport's lounge was just too much for you... Tongue

As for me, here's a picture taken last week of me at Pangong Tso, one of the remotest places I've ever been to in my life near Ladakh (Tibet).

What a cheerful look I have on my face... Tongue

Haha, thanks Pulsifer. Actually I snagged the blue/pink vest and jacket and tie at a Salvation Army for like a total of $8. The shirt and shoes I already owned. So yeah a suit for like under ten bucks, pretty amazing. Some of my friends were spending like 100+ dollars on theirs. You just got to know how to shop I guess  laugh

Heru: for some odd reason I've always pictured you looking like the disgruntled Frodo at Mt. Doom (probably because of your O.G./current avatar)

It's cool to see what all of ya'll actually look like.

As a matter of record, I finally met another METizen back in January when Amelia (Rita from back in the day) came to town. First ever Asian meet-up? Get in! Smiley

Also for the record, I've now had a meet-up with Ainulindale once more, but now on Russian ground Cheesy
I'm afraid Frances and her friends could remember the day as way too much walking (9 hours straight, yo), too much irrelevant information and my English that only lasted the first few hours, before becoming a jumbled mess. And that disgusting cake.. But then, there was first time caviar and the sovet-rashan-teik-over-ze-worrld-tok. And the tanks. Fun-fun!
