I see the sun! I see blue sky! It's a miracle! Well, the snow showers are returning tomorrow and staying. The temperature is in the single digits pretty often, but it gets slightly warmer around midday.

It is suppose to get in the 20's tonight and should be around 30 tomorrow with snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain. Right here where I am we should get about 2-4 inches of snow and ice on top. They already have winter storm watches and warnings going on right now and it isn't even here yet. The motor vehicle service is already been pouring salt solution on the roads all day today and tonight. The snow isn't suppose to start coming down after 7 in the morning when school buses are already moving. So I guess I will wait and see if the girls will have school.

But right now it is 35 out with a very pretty sunset and low clouds scattered around.

Ah, we're getting something similar here in Kentucky, minus about 10 degrees, hehe.

Wow, and you guys are both way further south than I am, and all we have here is snow. Your weather doesn't sound too good. Even several feet of snow would be better than ice. Last winter we had a pretty severe ice storm. It made the trees look very nice but it cut out the power in some places for several days, and it was VERY cold.

The last big storm we had here in North Carolina was in 2002. We have had small winter storms but 2002 was the last biggest. Some people were out of power for 2 weeks.

I'm in Georgia and we are supposed to be getting, can you believe it, ICE?! What's up with that! I hope it's gone by the time I travel home on Friday. Some areas in Northern Georgia are supposed to be getting 3 inches of snow. To Northern people like me, that is a picnic but it kinda throws these Southern people into mass panic! I feel bad for them in  way, but it's also rather funny! I don't think they even HAVE that many snowplows or anything like that.

I wish I was home though. My friend DorySadriendra (how many of you remember that name mm?) told me that we have drifts of snow across our roads and that we are getting dumped on with snow and I AM MISSING IT! It makes me sad, I love the snow.

We got hit with a huge ice storm a few weeks ago. Lots of damaged trees and stuff like that but I got some amazing photos.

I was looking at the radar images for the southern U.S. and it does look bad. We are still receiving snow showers here, and are going to get below-zero temperatures in a few days. There is never anything interesting.

Well we finally got what they said we will get. But the only problem is that where I am it's not like they said all the way. They said we would get 2-4 inches of snow. Well we only got a dusting before it started to sleet and freezing rain and the temperatures is riseing. So all that is melting the snow. Now we do occasionally do have some snow to come down but nothing to accumulate.

Ouch. I hope you find your jacket.

Speaking of freezing, we have lovely blowing snow, single-digit temperatures, below-zero lows and windchills, more wind, and more snow.

Well, we had snow for the past two days, and more snow coming. No school today, that's a plus, hehe.

Today the wind has gone completely and utterly insane. The temperature was already freezing to begin with, but the gusts are sending massive clouds of snow into the air so we have practically no visiblity. In some places the ground has already been cleared by the wind but in other places there are knee-deep drifts. It is impossible to see when you're outside walking... as if anyone would do that in the first place.

It is about in the low 40's but it feels much much colder with the wind is blowing something fierce. But besides that the sky is blue and the sun is shining oh so bright.

We woke to negative temperatures this morning and the windchill was something close to -20. This school system was the only one in the area to not cancel classes. It's rediculous.

It is about 55 (I think) out with clear, blue, sunny skies.

It feels so good I have been out cleaning up the back porch.
