Firefly was freakin' awesome!! We have the DVD set of the series, and the Serenity movie.
I've also been enjoying Weeds lately. I don't get Showtime, or whatever channel it comes on, but we've been renting the DVD's to hold us over until LOST and Heroes comes back on.
Someone mentioned listening to the radio more than watching TV. I'm the same way. I don't have satellite radio or anything spiffy. Just commercial sucky radio. I only listen to talk radio though (Air America and NPR), so it's all good!

Another kind of cheesy/funny show that I like is a Canadian show called Corner Gas.  It is kind of amusing for a sit-com.  I think it is available in some US markets now as well.

I mostly watch movies and read books, but I love the show Regenesis.

I am loving BBC2's repeating the series "That Mitchell and Webb Look"- it's brilliantly funny, and sparked enough catchphrases to keep the badge and shirt industry in business (especially "That's Numberwang"). Like all British comedy, it is random and mad at the same time, but this adds a certain charm, I think.

The last time I watched TV shows on an actual TV seems so long ago...hahaha. I just watch them on YouTube.
My favorites are:
InuYasha (the best, in my opinion. Yay.)
Death Note (This anime's not even on TV where I live, cause it's strictly Japanese. Kind of inconvenient, but oh well.)
Bleach
Blood+
Sailor Moon (I know it sounds dumb, but I love it!)
So Weird (Yes, I do mean the Disney show from almost ten years ago...it rocked!)
Degrassi (but only the old episodes. The new ones are boring and redundant.)

Mwahaha.

I like InuYasha and Sailor Moon as well.
I own a lot of anime (Sugar a snow fairy, Bottle Fairies, Tokyo Mew Mew, to name a few).
