I'm doing nothing. It's rather depressing. Sigh.

I'm thinking about how I used to come to this site almost every single day about 4 or 5 years ago. I miss the days when LotR was still a hot topic. I miss waiting excitedly for the new movies, reading and re-reading the books. Fun times!

Those times will return Diamond, when the Hobbit films come out.  Filming should begin next year, and casting should be happening soon.  Hang in there.  I know I am.

Ah! Thanks for the reminder; I can't wait! I hope it causes a little hype--that always makes things even more exciting. And the casting should be really interesting too! Do you know if Ian McKellen will be returning as Gandalf? He was perfect for the role.

Hey Diamond.  Yes, McKellan will be returning as Gandalf for sure.     Andy Serkis will reprise his role as Gollum, and Hugo Weaving as Elrond.  But the rest is really up in the air.  Check out this topic, where I have posted some links to other sites with decent Hobbit film info.
