Scroll: maybe your husband doesn't know how to express himself - but I am sure he loves you a lot.  My wife is my Luthien (see The Silmarillion - Beren and Luthien).

The worst part of my day?  Probably heading-off to work - what a drag  Roll Eyes

Thanks Beren. He does love me just in his own way and I love him too.

Had a bad day yesterday, offended someone on other board, so I left there, and joined here and EWN, well, I was already a member there. Wasn't sure where I was gonna score more pics of Frodo, but maybe I will find some here, cuz EWN don't have any yet. Sad

Edited to add: I won 5.00 yesterday at the Eagles meeting...gotta post a letter now that I have money to do it w/.

Downfall was: the guy I work w/ lost the job he put in for by 11.00...so now he has to try again for more that I can do.

I got a pic of Elijah in the mail on the 17th of last month, the day after my Dad's mom blew up at me and I think he knew what happened. He's on my bebo page too, and we did talk some but I hope I don't bother him and make him not want to be my friend. Downfall, the blow up, now I don't talk to my dad's mom too much. It's a shame when u live in the same house but it feels like u r in 2 different worlds.

Ah, the downfall of my day at the moment is having loads of time off college (only have to go in for exams- two A levels left) but with both parents working full time and not much to do around where I live, it seems to be very tedious wondering what to do to occupy myself. Sure, I can paint and do arty stuff, or write until the cows come home (as is the saying) but it doesn't necessarily make the day any more interesting than the other. What I would really like to do is have a day out with the family, or just go for a walk in the country, finished off with a pub lunch maybe, but even at weekends it seems like eveyone is occupied with something else.

All will be fine Wolf and I will send you some of my good luck that I am having right now.

I don't have a downfall right now. It is all but highlights. It is all from yesterday.

1. Finally went to the doctor yesterday about the problem I have been having with my lips and then a rash
on my legs and arms. I have a fungus called Canada. He perscribed 1 pill for yeast infection and an
over the counter cream used for athletes(sp) foot to rub on my lips, arms and legs, plus lip balm.

2. Then after the doctor I went to a job interview and later the lady called me and asked if I could start
Next Monday. So I finally got me a new fob after being out of work since November.

3. Later in the day I took my final exam and I passed. Not with a grade that I wanted, but I passed and
now I get my certificate. My grade for the whole class is not very good but I still passed.

So yesterday was nothing but good luck and good news.

I've been sick the whole weekend and I am in the middle of final exams; I am very tired. However, I did recently download this amazing image-editing program for free, almost (but not quite) as good as Photoshop.

Woah! Why did this topic die? So cool. Anyway, I'm revivving it.

Higlight: Seeing my girl today at school, after a weekend of lonesomeness.

Downfall: Having to go home from school.  Sad

Highlight: I'm back at art school, and loving the new project. Coming home is also great, because my dad's got this week off, so the house doesn't feel as empty as usual.

Downfall: No matter how much you wrap up, the British winter finds a way to make you shiver. I'm also not the best fan of mornings, which is a bit of a drag.

Highlight: Going to school (as usual), playing basketball, having my Zen V returned (I went without portable Radiohead for 2 days!) and seeing my girl.

Downfall: The dentist + X-ray + Floride + 3 cavities that need filling = no fun!

Highlight: Walking in the rain singing let it snow with my 4 year old.  She is the queen of positive thinking - she thinks if she sings songs about how wonderful the snow is it will come back.

Downfall:  Looking out this morning and seeing the mess of things outside.
