Highlight: Getting my drawing appreciated a lot lately, and found a present for my dad's birthday whilst rambling around town.

Downfall: Felt really pushed today as to what path to pursue for this project and in terms of the future. I hate having to choose between drawing and painting, and although I thought I'd solved the problem (by picking fine art), the decision just keeps coming back to haunt me, and my tutors are saying that in uni the choice is even more separate. As well as that, I got an absolutely vicious papercut and almost got run over my my own stupid non-braking-when-he-should-damn-well-have-been bus.

Highlight: Umm...well...I get to go to work tonight!  Which is always interesting (I work at a small, in between fast food and sit down restuarant).

Downfall: Our dryer broke this morning and the   ???pants I need are currently hanging on the wall to dry...along with other pieces of assorted clothing randomly strewn over chairs and hanging on hangers throughout the house...I feel like I live at a...wet clothes store.

But I know I must go on
Although I hurt, I must be strong
Because inside I know that many feel this way
Children, don't stop dancing--believe blind.
Children, don't stop dancing--believe you can fly away...away.
So let's go there--let's make our escape
Let's ask can we stay?

*coughs politely*

Erm, I'm assuming of course, that's the highlight of your day, Beren?

and funnily enough, the highlight of my day is getting back to my family after a hard day at work. It feels so good to put the key in the door and know you're home......

downfall: waking up and realising it's a weekday  Sad

Highlight: Only morning classes today, huzzah! Now I get to sit around at home and (almost) nothing.
Downside: I screwed up an exam today. And I was just 0.4% away from the next highest grade this grade period. Not cool.
