Yay!  Someone's reading my posts!
I'm trying to stimulate some more LOTR/Tolkein discussion - although I love reading all of your posts Beren!

That's an interesting letter, and it is odd to see the late Tolkien speaking in pre-Lord of the Rings tense. Pauline Baynes work is something I have never seen before either, and I am very impressed!

Wow, this is very interesting; the letter's appearance lends a different perspective to readers. I have never specifically noticed Pauline Baynes' work either.
