Ok plain and simple. What are your views on the Anna Nichole Smith saga?

It's just a bunch of media hype for someone who is not all that famous.  It's not like she's even close to being comparable to Marylin Monroe or JFK or Princess Dianna, or whoever.  She's a former Play Boy model who conned an old billionaire out of his fortune and pissed off his family.  I say good riddens!

I don't find her to be worth the attention that the media has given her.

I too dislike her as a woman who has exploited her body and people around her, so to me it is not a massive issue- but she was a mother, and now has a child that is being fought over, so I respect her memory on that count. Otherwise, I agree that the media have made more of a mountain out of this than was needed.

They just need to let her rest in peace period. All this drama is nothing by bananas.

This story was run - at great length, I may add - in Norway.

We don't care. Another model dies of a drug overdose; shock, horror. I'm hard enough pressed to care about Miss Norway in my class, I really can't work up any emotion over the death of a semi-erstwhile model overseas.

Ban ignorance, not books.

She got too much money before she could make good decisions.  Her life was not great at all, and she's a horrible person to look up to, but I can't say 'good riddance' or anything, because, honestly, I couldn't be happy about most people dying.
The media just used her death too much.  Just let her rest in peace!

Well, that's right, there's nothing good about people dying. However, she made bad decisions during her lifetime, and that's all there is to it. The media doesn't need to do anything besides report it.

True, Andunie.  Anna Nicole's life was tragic, but as a result of poor decisions on her part.  People should not idolize her, but see her life as an example of how not to live.
