Ok now that Thanksgiving is done and gone let's talk Christmas.

1. What are your plans for Christmas this year?
2. What do you want for Christmas?
3. What are you giving for Christmas?

1. My family and I are going to stay home like always. But my husband has to
at his part time job Christmas Eve so instead of having our traditon of
building a fire in the fireplace and roasting hot dogs and marshmellows to
have a picknick in the house, we are going to do it on Christmas night.

2. I want some new nonstick cookie sheets, pie pans, loaf pans, muffin pans,
and pizza pans. jewelry, LOTR and dragon stuff, perfume, and some other
things I can't think of right now.

3. Already got my girls things on layaway at Walmart and Kmart. Don't know
what to get my husband yet. But there is a recliner chair at his job that
matches our new leather sofa we bought from there that I would like to get
him and if so he already knows it. I might get the 89 year old woman I sit
with on Satrudays a shirt and a couple of big piece puzzles she can hold and
see. That would give her something to do since she is in a wheelchair and
just watches tv all day. This would give her something to do. As for everyone
    else? I'm not sure yet.

Oh and I did a new dryer the other day to match my washer I got last year. It
is the first time I have ever had a brand new washer and dryer set before and matching too.

Sweet! Christmas!

Well this year my sister is having a baby in June so I will probably get him some cool baby gifts. My niece and nephew loe toys so I will see if I can get any money and get them something cool. My bro I will probably get a basketball, becuase when he went off to college he wanted to take mine, but I wouldn't let him. My brother-in-law always needs a good book or DVD so he and my sis are usually pretty easy to shop for. For my mom and Dad I will probably give them something cool yet random.

For Christmas I would tottally like:

Polo shirts
Ipod shuffle
sweat shirts
etc.
(even though I probably won't get any of those Tongue )

Every year my family rents a condo for the week. It's wicked awesome. It includes
Big screen TV
hot tub
use of pool
and the little kids n my family love it. We usually spend Christmas there and either oen gifts and eat the special dinner before or after the actual Christmas day ( Alot of times becuase of my dad's job and other times so we can get after-Christmas sales Cheesy )

My plans for this Christmas are to spend it with my family (as always) and possibly this year we will have my grandma staying with us again, as it isn't right if she's on her own. But on Christmas Eve all of us firstly go down to her house, with all other family members, and then have a really big meal together. That's been a tradition for eons.

What I guess I'd like for Christmas is a photo printer (to go with the camera I got for my birthday) and also a new memory card. Some art materials would be nice, and some art in the form of any work by Brian Froud, or someone with a similar fantasy creature style. I think what I really want to do is pan down to the Christmas market in Manchester with my dad, and just point out some things to give him a hint. And look in some new age shops for stuff too. There are some pretty fantastic necklaces at the market that I have my eye on...

What I want to get for people is as follows: My dad, I know already I am getting for him this clock shaped like a guitar, and for my sister there is this bracelet that I know she will love. For my mum, I think jewellery will suit her too, or something that involves candles. I have no idea what I'm getting my friends yet...but I'll find something. I might also have to get my sister's boyfriend something too, which will be based around anime-type things, or Superman.

So yeah...nearly sorted. Well, not at all, but soon.

Well...Christmas this year will be like most of the others. In the morning, we get up, open our presents from our immediate family and then get dressed. Then we go to our friends house for breakfast and to give them their gifts. Then we go to my grandma's house with all my extended family and have lunch and exchange presents and hang out for hours. Then we leave in the late afternoon and go to another friends house for dinner, and then all the family friends come over and we all eat and have fun until around 2 or 3am. It's a long day but really fun.

As for what I am giving and getting - I'm only getting money for presents this year, because I am going overseas 4 days after Christmas, for 2 months, and so I need money. And I'm not giving presents to my family and most of my friends. My family asked if they could get late presents from Europe, and 3 of 5 friends that I would buy presents for are coming overseas with me, so we made a pact not to get each other Christmas presents this year, but to spend time with each other before we go. We're going to go to my friends house to swim in her pool and laze around all day. It will be fun!

This last week I officially went for broke, bought all my Christmas gifts, and ran out of a great number of the £'s. But at least I beat the last minute rush, and I know I have bought people the things they want.

Only a tiny bit bitter about the shop that still hasn't even phoned me up about the job I handed my CV in for about a month ago, in the hope of actually being able to afford a lot of gifts this time round...grrrr...

Hey, if your wallet fails you, you can always make something. Then it's much more personal, and you know you've put some real thought in to it. I think I am going to be making some stuff myself, for family and all that.

In some ways, I find Christmas eve more magical and exciting than Christmas. It holds all the expectancy pf the day to come.
