WHOOOO They already have majority in the House of Representatives! Dead tie for Senate, 49-49 with two races still undecided, but dems might just win those too!

Great day for America.

BOO-YA!! Let the investigations begin! And now we have our first woman Speaker of the House! Woot! I know the thought of Nancy Pelosi as Speaker is one of the biggest threats to Bush &  Co., so "bah dah bum bum bah...I'm lovin' it!"  ;D

EDIT - Now there are reports that Rumsfeld may be stepping down!! OMG! If this turns out to be true I might just pee my pants with excitement!!

Yes, Rumsfeld has indeed resigned. Really, with all the recent crap he's been getting from even the military, he didn't have any other option.
I'm watching the press conference now, Bush just made Bob Gates to be Rumsfeld's replacement.

Also, Webb beat incumbent George "Macacca" Allen in Virginia (basically eliminating Allen as a potential presidential candidate) meaning ONE MORE SEAT and the senate is Democrat as well.

Also, I'm glad to see the woman speaker of the house, didn't know she was the first. I'm very happy to see some of the changes she wants to make, including a $7.25 minimum wage and actually enacting some of the security recommendations made by the 9/11 commision.
