hi
I am looking for a good book to read I have read the

hobbit
all of the loard of the rings series
I tried reading The Silmarillion but got totally confused  Cry
sI also have the book of unfinished tails which I am reading until I find something better

what I am looking for is more on how & why the one ring was made I guess like a prequil?
something along the lines of this
