I'm almost done with the felloship of the ring and it is amazing! only 2 or 3 chapters left. I wanted to know how the felloship of the ring compares with the other lord of the rings books. Are they better  or the same?

My personal belief is that Twin Towers is not as good as the other two books.  Maybe it's because I just wanted to get through it and get to the ROTK. I am in the process of going through the books again.  I will slow it down and probably enjoy it  more, therefore getting more out of it, this time, but ROTK is wonderful.  Enjoy!  Warning, however, once you are done, you feel a bit lost.  There is just no other body of written works that are as wonderful as the LOTR series.  There are some wonderful stories, but Tolkien gets you so caught up in this world that it leaves you wanting more.

Well, after all, all three books are parts of the same plotline. Some of the parts are slower and some are more exciting, but I thought that all the books were pretty much even in terms of their being interesting. LotR was very well written.
