I agree with Alcarinque. Hillary only stuck on with Bill to become President.... Edwards' a smug-ass ghey lawyer [$400!!!]... Obama's not qualified enough... Giuliani supports Abortion [liek 0mg!]... McCain's a maverick Mexican-lover and Romney's a Mormon and smells funny!

Good luck Amerika!

Hillary only stayed with Bill because she knew that it would help her become president.  Therefore, no one should vote for her.  She should have left him.  Then maybe she would have got my vote.

PLUS: Obama and Clinton SUPPORT AMNESTY!  DON'T VOTE FOR ANYONE WHO SUPPORTS AMNESTY.

AMNESTY = BAD!!!!!!!!!

AHHHH!!!!!!! NO AMNESTY!!!!!!!

I sincerely hope this was a spoof post and my irony metre is just being repaired again, Alca. 'Cause if you keep talking like a bitch, I'll have to smack you like a bitch.

No spoofing here (Okay, so maybe I overdid it with the "Ahh"s and the all caps but I don't support amnesty).  Do you support amnesty or something?  It's not like it really matters to you because you don't live the U.S. but I'm wondering.  Or is it my thing with Hillary?

My prediction at the moment is that it's going to be Guiliani and Hillary. (This could definitely change. Just going by the state of things right now)   And for Hillary to beat Guiliani, I think that's going to be tough.  I'm a registered Democrat (although I fit better into the Green party), and am not sure yet who I'm going to vote for in the primary. My hubby and I were just saying we should vote for whoever we think could beat Guiliani, which right now, I'm leaning toward Joe Biden.
BTW, there will be no bitch slapping here, thanks!   Tongue

Whatever you do please just don't elect a female president.

Then we can't excuse the fact that we've never had a female prime minister by: "Well look at the US." and might actually try to fix the problem.

I mean Pakistan, India, Argentina, Germany.. this *is* getting ridiculous.

Though this American election campaign confirms a suspicion i've had for long. America will see a black and a female (and possibly  both combined) president before they see a native American.

Out of the motley crew of candidates up for running, I'd least dislike Obama winning it right now.

Anyone know if Nader is up for it again this year?

I'm fed up of the 20x5 metre banners all over Moscow screaming 'Moscow's choice - Vladimir Putin' and 'Putin's Plan - Russia's Future'.

I will like TOTALLY vote for Kasparov!!
I mean, I only heard he wants to be president yesterday but what can be better?!

Edit: Yesterday was also the day I saw the most horrible thing ever. On CNN. Or was that BBC. Nonetheless, I felt really bloody sick - crowd of people with Russian and United Russia flags, really happy, Putin non-tie, and pretty much saying that the democrats are 'barbarians'. Whoa. Brainwashed idiocy. Times like these, I wanna leave the country.

Leora: so obviously you are from Russia, eh?  That is cool.  I love Russia, and I am Canadian.  I travelled there about five years ago.

What's wrong with a female president?

Oh, I suspect there's nothing. (Gogo Gro!) She just meant that she'd be embarrassed (kinda) if the US got a female president before liberal, progressive Sweden. Her post was of a sarcastic nature, I presume. (If this presumption is wrong, please beel free to correct me, Melian)

It seems like Obama and Clinton are really "playing the politics" these days.  Obama's got Oprah on his side, and Clinton's got Streisand.  I would probably vote for Hillary if I were in the US, but whoever wins will be a first for the US.
