After Death

What do you think happens after death?

Nothing, that's why they call it death.
For a good simulation, think about what it was like before you were born.

What's that? Theres nothing? Well, exactly. After your brain dies, theres no more activity to constitute "consciousness" so all consciousness ends forever.

Scary, yes. Depressing, yes. But an amazing concept to contemplate.

Hm....Well i believe there is nothing after death but there re many theories about this matter and every one of them can not be denied as long as we re not dead.So basically everyone believes what he likes best:P

I agree with Num. Everyone believes what they believe. Just like Aliens, the Loch Ness Monster, Evolution or not, Atlantis, and many other things that everyone believes these or not and in different ways and reasons.

As for me? I'm not sure. Sometimes I think there is something after death. More so now that both my parents are gone and I wish when it's my time to go I want to believe I will see them again in heaven.



Now I'm not sure if this goes along with this topic or not but I do think of something after death because of a dream I had a while back after my parents passed away. I dreamed that my mom was with a tall strange man with black hair, beard, and mustache (he was very nice looking). His appearance was different from my daddy's so I know it was not my daddy. Along with this man and my mom was two little kids, a boy and a girl.

My mom was so skinny, about 135 in weight I think and was walking with no trouble at all. Now the only thing I could think of where she was is in heaven. Because the surroundings were so peaceful. Didn't get a good look but I knew it was peaceful. My mom said," she have never felt as good as she was now in this place and she could walk, jump, and stuff she couldn't before." You see she was about 400-500 pounds when she died and had a very bad leg that caused an infection to her blood that killed her and she had been sick for years upon years. But in this place it was so different.

I kept on asking about dad and she never said a thing about him. I thought she was having an affair with this man in the dream with her. But I soon determined that the man was Jesus or God walking with her. Talking and holding her hand. The two kids after thinking was my older brother and sister that both were still born when she gave birth to them. She said," she was fine, better than ever while on this earth and for me not to worry about her. She was in good hands."

Never knew where my dad is but I have a theory about that too. The morning my daddy died my brother was alone with him in the hospital and my brother said that daddy suddenly sat up in bed and began to look around with a scared look on his face. Like the bad guy did in the movie "Gohst" when the bus hit him and the black demons came from (you know) and got him.

I have had more dreams about my mom than my daddy since they both passed away 4 years ago. The last dream about my daddy was a month after he passed he came to me ina dream and told me he loved me. He never told me that growing up nor could he do it on his death bed since he was so doped up on morphine. And my mom never told me about daddy with that dream I had of her



So after all that do you think there is something after death or just a dream? I think there is something after death and my mom is waiting for me with my brother and sister I never knew, along with Jesus and God.

I believe there is a heaven and a hell. And either way there is a path leading to it. In the Bible it says the path to hell is large but the path to heaven is small and few will find it. I hope we all find it. I believe Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit will be in heaven, and we will praise God for what he has done. Hopefully we will see our loved one up there too. I had a brother who died before he was bron and a friend who was only 15 who just died this year. I can't wait to see them it will be awesome.

I am sorry to here about your sibling and friend Insane.

I do believe in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Since I was baptized and reborn in it when I was about 12 (such a long time ago). Even though I don't live it now. But I am saved till the day I die.

Now don't get me wrong. I don't drink, do drugs, or smoke but however I don't go to church anymore. But I do still pray and occasionally do read my Bible and listen to preaching and stuff like that on tv.

Some say all you have to do is just believe in God and announce it then you are saved. If you get saved then you are till you die but you can back slide and all you need is to repent of your sins.

I do agree with that Fan. A person once told me along time ago that, "the more we try to understand and make alot of sense out of the Bible. By unraveling the questions and different mysteries of it the more we get confused and don't understand it more.
