I'm just gettin crazy for this matter as a whole. What i ve been tought in my school was that Alexander the great(Megas Alexandros) is Greek(opinion which i still have).I'm just too curious with those Fyrom(i was talkin with a fyrom guy today) guys and i just want to see some opinions regarding this issue form the neutrals in here. But for gods shake Alexandros is a greek name as well as Alexandria(and there re many other proofs that Alexandros was greek ancient coins etc etc..).
Actually he was Macedonian. His father was Philip of Macedon. Although the cultures are similar, but still different. Greek culture was the more dominant of the two, thus had the greater influence. Of course, Alexander the Great was responsible for speading Greek culture through what became his empire (parts of the Mediterranean and Middle East, mostly).
