Numenorian, this subject is too demanding and I'll give you a shorther version, starting from the world war two.Later,if you want to know more,I'll go back in history. So,it starts like this:

During the world war two there was a civil war in Croatia.Part of Croats stood by Hitler, hoping to get a free country. They formed a "puppet country"(like Vichy France) that was under Germany, but still more free than under Serbia.Terrible crimes were done against the Serbs and Jews and I regret that. Those few years were the darkest part of our history and I'm ashamed of that.Other Croats were communists and they formed the first anti-fashistic movement in Europe. When the war ended,Yugoslavia was formed, with six republics in it:Slovenia,Croatia,Bosnia and Herzegovina,Serbia,Montenegro and Macedonia.Yugoslavia was something between the West and the East. The Serbs had all the power and all the money went to Serbia. They hated Croats for what they've done during the world war two. After the war they had their revenge, killing several hundreds of thousands of Croats.Nobody from Croatia could be a general or have a significant political power.Nobody from Croatia or other republics. They hated the Croats and Slovenians the most for being catholic, too(Serbs are orthodox). After Tito died, they decided to make their "Big Serbia" dream come true.Slovenians and Croats first wanted to make Yugoslavia a real federation, with all being equal, but the Serbs didn't like the idea. They laughed to Slovenians in the parlament and attacked Slovenia. The war lasted 10 days or so and the Serbs were defeated. They gave up because Slovenia wasn't really their goal. Then they attacked Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.Their minority in Croatia tried to brake apart. The Serbs attacked our historical cities.kiled all not-serbs in a real savage way. After five looong years they were finally defeated, including their minority which acted like a independent army.We defeated them too,and Croatia was free at last.Bosnia got even worse than Croatia, since there were 3 nations there(Croats,Serbs and Muslims-Bosnians),and all three fought each other.Macedonia wasn't attacked and Montenegro stood by Serbia, attacking us.That's the "official" version, what really happened.Germany had a role in this. They only admitted us when nobody else would. But so did Estonia,Vatican and Iceland. But you can't blame them for Yougoslavia crumbling. It's pretty obvious whose fault was that.My people perhaps did terrible things in the past, but only a part of them, and only for few years. All Serbs still want the same, they're the main reason for Balkan being unstable.Throughout the history they did terrible things.I do not hate them,I forgave them, but I'll never forget what happened.

Well of course you know better upon this matter and thx for the information btw.Basically i expressed the opinion that is most acceptable here in greece that it was the west that did all these things because as you may know yugoslavia(and ofc ussr) was a big problem for the Americans(and western countries) "terroristic action" so these countries decided to break yugoslavia.Though i must say after what ive heard from you, i believe that both factors(serbs and generally west) made the situation terrible there.Thx again for your info mate Wink
