The Battle of Five Armies Comparatively

Obviously this battle is the climactic battle in the Hobbit.  How do you think it compares to the other epic battles in Tolkien's works?

I think the battle of Helm's Deep to be a much more epic battle but if they make the Hobbit a movie I look forward to waching it.

I personally love the battle for Helm's Deep, but I think the Battle of Five Armies could have the potential to compare to it, maybe even eclipse it.  Think of how awe-inspiring it was to read when Thorin and his band emerged from their baracade inside the Lonely Moutain.  That scene was amazing and continues to captivate my imagination.

That is true and it was men, elves, dwarves, goblins, and wargs.

Hey, I mean if I were to rate the top ten battle scenes of all time, from any movie, LOTR's battle scenes would probably take up half the list.  I love when Rohan arrives at Pelenor Fields and attacks the orcs.  Or when the army of the undead fight with Aragorn.  Too many epic battles to mention.

Yea. And all of Tolkien's Battles are epic.
