Hey Diamond.  I haven't heard anything.  Where did you hear this rumour?  I wouldn't be entirely surprised actually, considering the delays.  I hope it is not true.  LMK what information you have about this.

What it says, is that the director, Del Toro has quit, due to continual delays.  Too bad, he would have been good.

I heard some friends talking about it; not sure how they found out. Maybe they heard that del Toro was quitting and took it the wrong way?
I hope the movie doesn't get cancelled; I'm curious to see who this "new director" will be.

Cool.  Well keep us posted if you hear any more rumours.  It is though, a real shame that Del Toro quit.  I think he would have been awesome.  I am thinking maybe Jackson might return to direct the two Hobbit films, but we'll see.

Also regarding the "new director," I heard a long, long time ago, that maybe Sam Rami was being considered for the role (you  know the director of the first two Spiderman films).  He might be a good choice to reconsider.
