The dispute may finally come to an end, and it looks very likely that Jackson himself will direct the two Hobbit films.  And hey, what do you know?  They will be in 3D.  This should be awesome!

Every other film that comes out seems to be 3D nowadays, probably because they can charge more for it... and the effect is sometimes but not always good.

Either way, this is still great to hear! It's taken them a good long while to sort the entire thing out, and Peter Jackson? Even better.
