Hobbit movie

It just wont seem right not having PJ doing the Hobbit. He had such a great eye for the movies and how it should be. I do know that Lij  says he isn't going to be Bilbo  . It would be so great if PJ could direct it again and have all the cast back to play the characters. Of course Gimli and Gandalf both would change and Lij  would be Bilbo. All the others I am sure could have been found new characters to play and it would still be great.

I agree, Peter Jackson would have been our first choice for director.

I wonder who the director of photography will be? If that position was filled with the same person, I think it would be good news.

Some of the "feel" of the trilogy might still be there with similar camera techniques and lighting approaches, providing the new director didn't override those decisions.
