Awesome news!  I will have to see who has been cast in the role of Bard of Laketown now.  Every time I have been checking (on a weekly basis), there seems to be no announcement.

I figured you'd like this news. I saw it when I logged into my Yahoo email. LOL. I was like "The people of MET need to know!" I read it through and I can safe watch. Ian McKellan will be Gandalf again. Cheesy Only he can pull Gandalf off.

I looked again for who is playing Bard, but nothing came up.  The onering.net and imb didn't have anything on it.  Well anyway.  It is all good news - finally they will get this thing going.  Release date looks to be sometime in 2012.

Yeah. I was shocked when it said Peter Jackson had to have surgery which is what postponed it!!!!
