I always enjoyed Gandalf in the books, and Sir Ian Mckellen is a great actor, so I had to go with Gandalf.

Of course Wink

Like in the books, he presented wisdom, courage and compassion. Wonderfully and very intensely acted by Sir Ian McKellen and thus (in my humble opinion) the best character from the Fellowship.

It's very obvious that almost all LOTR fans love Gandalf. Count me in! I'm very much impressed of Gandalf's character when he was rescued by an eagle after speaking to a moth.

I will definitely acknowledge that Christopher Lee nailed it with Sauruman.
He is my SECOND favourite character in the films...
That being said - I am a girl and have wanted to be an elf all of my life - I dress like one I have hair to my bum that I braid like the elves... so seeing Galadriel almost exactly as I imagined her was amazing for me!  Smiley

Gandalf. I was always a fan of the elderly leader types in books. No idea why. Even though he had all this power over beats and humans, using magic and other interesting arts it was the little things that he did that were the coolest. like wispering to them moth. Amazing!
