So many favorite scenes.  Here are three that stand out to me:

1)  The whole episode where the fellowship is rushing out of Moria to escape the Balrog, including Gandalf fighting the Balrog;
2)  When Aragorn rallies the men of Gondor and Rohan before the gates of Mordor;
3)  When Aragorn encourages Theoden inside the fortress of Helm's Deep to "ride out and meet them" - the army of Saruman, including when they actually ride out and begin cutting down Saruman's orcs.

And it seemed to Thingol that this Man was unlike all other mortal Men, and among the great in Arda . . .

Yeah that last scene in Helm's Deep awesome.
It gives you a true warrior feeling.
Another of my favorite scenes is when Theoden encourages hes army and when he rides into the army of Mordor in fron of Minas Tirith

That is also an inspiring scene.  There are several scenes involving Theoden that are very inspiring.

And then Sam's reply is even more funny: "You're hopeless."  I love that line!

Being really into elves (but not a lego-lover) I loved all of the elvish parts.  In HD the attention to detail is really incredible.  My absolute favorite is when you first see Galadriel.

I was watching FOTR last night and I love when Merry comes to the table with a beer and says "This, my friends, is a pint!."
And Pippin says"It comes in pints?  I'm getting one."

My favorite scene, no doubt, has to be the death of Boromir....*cries*  I...LOVE...that...man!!!!   Smiley

Second best scene is Aragorn at the black gate with his little speech.  Quite amazing...makes me want to charge into battle.

And third...You gotta love the Aragorn and Eowyn scenes...*again cries*  Amazing.

But I know I must go on
Although I hurt, I must be strong
Because inside I know that many feel this way
Children, don't stop dancing--believe blind.
Children, don't stop dancing--believe you can fly away...away.
So let's go there--let's make our escape
Let's ask can we stay?

If we're talking scenes from the film, I really like the scene where Galadriel "passes the test" and does not take the ring from Frodo.
Her voice and face change into something so powerfully scary, yet awesome and beautiful, that it jolts you into realising how much power the Elves still wielded and makes you wonder what possesion of the One Ring would have turned Galadriel into and how that  would have affected Middle Earth......
