Gandalf is the 'World's favourite wizard'....

I don't know what their sample size was - the article doesn't provide many details, but 3 of my favourite wizards are there.  Can anyone else think of some good film wizards?

One would have to admit, that although Gandalf might be the world's most famous wizard, currently - the most famous wizard of all time would have to be Merlin, from the King Arthur legends.

I am rather surprised that Merlin didn't rank first, although it is understandable (and great) that Gandalf is the best known.

Except from gandalf who must be first,saruman should have place(far more epic and interesting char than all the others),i would say Elminister from forgotten realms should have been placed in this list but ok i believe thats my personal view so it is not standing as a whole
