Cool.  Check out the scan of my Farmer Giles of Ham book in the appropriate thread.   Smiley

Okay, well since no one is going to ever scan in their LOTRs cards, I am heading to my local hobby shop tomorrow and I will pick some up.   lol

Well guy's I finally picked some up at one of my local card shops.  I just bought four packs, but each from different sets.  Besides the ones I have chosen for my new sig., here are some of the highlights.  Comments are welcome.
A kind of hologram sort of card, from the Ents of Fangorn set:

Gothmog, Lietenant of Morgul:

Treebeard from Ents of Fangorn Set:

From the Siege of Gondor set, crazy old Pip, shouldn't have tried to take the palantiri (oh well things worked out in the end):

"What do your elf eyes see?"  Legoloas, from the Siege of Gondor set:

Hope you enjoy them!  I will post more when others post theirs.   Cheesy

Ahh, THOSE cards. Very cool Beren.
I have the Mines of Moria set and the Fellowship set. It's quite a fun game.

Never actually played any of those RPG card games.  I just bought these because they're LOTRs.  Insane, you mentioned you had some lying around in an earlier post.  Can you scan some of them in?  Then I can scan in more of mine.  This could be a really neat thread - to see all the cool LOTRs cards that people have.

Hmm. Sounds like a good idea Beren. I'll have to get my scanner up and running, maybe Monday or Tuesday? Hopefully  Tongue

I believe it's just the fact they're Lord of the Rings cards. Anything remotely related to LotR carries great intrinsic value, y'know...

What Andunie said is true.  We are all die-hard LOTRs fans and like to bring in anything related to the books/films.  I myself don't really collect the cards or play the game, but bought some for nostalgic value, etc., and because of the cool pics.  I actually collect hockey cards, which has been a 20 year hobby for me.  This thread is meant to be a "fun thread" and those who wish to participate can, and those who don't want to don't have to.  It's just for fun -at the end of the day.   Cheesy
