USA TODAY has compiled a list of the 25 top movie milestones of the past 25 years. Topping the list is Peter Jackson's Tolkien epic LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy...

That's amazing. What can I say? With the amount of work put into creating the films (and the quality of the original story), LotR deserves the recognition.

The Fellowship made #50 on the American Film Institute's Top 100 movies, which is pretty good.  I was surprised it beat out a lot of the movies that it did.
