does anyone have good software to cut a small avi file of this scene



i can make an avi a gif, but i don't have software to rip dvds to avis.

Have you tried searching google? There are allkinds of free downloads that can help you and by you doing it, you will get exactly what you want

i'm just too lazy to find anything. i was just hoping maybe someone had a program and did stuff like this all the time.

I mostly use Final Cut HD for this kind of work, but, eh, that kind of requires a rather powerful Mac as well as licensed software for around $1000.

I have removed any posts that were referring to the use of p2p or bittorrent to retrieve pirated software. Try to help in another legal way or simply not.

woah. first off i wasn't helping someone, i was explaining what p2p or bittorrent were. the person i would have been helping was myself. p2p and bittorrent aren't even illegal. it seems like the only reason to edit what was said would only be if someone posted links on how to retrieve those programs. someone should edit your post, you mentioned p2p and bittorrent too.
