[Lexicalized]

*Lexicalized, after a very exhausting, but triumphant game of Risk, is "forced" to flee under fire from the maniac Chaz*

*Flies up to Shiona's mountain once more to ponder the next course of action*

*Suddenly grins (as much as a phoenix can grin...), and eyes gleam with a sudden idea as Lexicalized flies back down to the hill to parlay.*

"Chazzzzz...I have a proposition for you and your hideous minions.  Why waste our time and energy fighting silly battles which scar the skin.  Why not put more important things on the line? Why not take a greater risk?  Why not battle the wits and the mind and not the body and the machine?  Are you too scared to dare it?  Do you fear to face the public?  If you do then say so immediately...and if not than I challenge you..."

*straightens to full height with wicked grin*

"To an election race.  Picture it, Chaz.  Lexicalized/Shiona '08 vs. Chaz/Beren '08.  Our names plastered over the newspapers.  Our pasts hideoiusly dug up and paraded about for all to see.  Every sin, from kindergarten to the present, exposed to the eyes of the whole nation!  What a glorious risk!  Do you dare?"

*awaits an answer*

((Seriously, guys, this would be fun.  We can "run" against each other for "President and Vice President of the Hill" and we could have the members of the board vote.  We could make another thread (or do it here...) where we campaign.  It would be great fun!  What think you?))

[Beren One-Hand]

*Beren wonders how a democracy and the hill can go hand-in-hand.  The fight for the hill had been waged long before Lex and Shiona joined it, and it will continue, democracy or not.*

*Deceive Heracles you might, but it does not matter, for Zeus is the more powerful god.  Zeus comes back into the picture and retakes the hill from the wanabees Lex and Shiona.*

*And in the name of fun, Beren decides to pull out an old board game, since Lex and Shiona failed at Chaz's little game earlier on.  Low and behold it's Connect Four.*

*Unfortunately, like in the war for the hill, Lex and Shiona lose again.*

[Shiona]

*"...So now it's ZEUS that's King of the Hill?" muses Shiona, as she heads back over the causeway to the mountain (again)*

"Can't see him giving it up for Chaz & Beren when they ask for it back......"

[Beren One-Hand]

*Zeus took the hill for Beren and Chaz, but Beren and Chaz joined him atop the hill after defeating Lex and Shiona in that game of Connect Four.  Zeus holds a secret meeting with his best soldiers.  Beren is seated to his right and Chaz to his left.*

[Shiona]

*Through extra powerful (and slightly magical) binoculars that can see through walls, Shiona watches..*
"Strange", she says, "How Zeus, Chaz and Beren look remarkably like King Arthur, Sir Lancelot and Sir Geraint    "
*Wandering down to the shoreline of her mountain-Island, she gazes out to sea and ponders her next move..*

[Lexicalized]

 "They're looking a little pale and unmoving about now..." *suddenly grins and takes flight, landing on top of the little counsel and smashing the ceramic men into pieces.*

"So much for king of the hill...."

[Beren One-Hand]

*Shattering ceramic pieces into dust does not diminsh the divine.  Therefore, with the power of Zeus, Beren emerges from the dust as The Sandman, and Chaz as Spiderman.  They immediately charge the hill to regain their throne.  Lex is seen getting buried in the sand.*

*To deal with Shiona on her little island, Beren hires one of Chaz's Russian tanks to destroy her hideout.*

*Beren and Chaz are kings once again!*

[Lexicalized]

*Lexicalized is destroye by the sand...once more to rise again, bigger, stronger, wiser and...more furious*

*lifts the atlantic ocean out of it's place and dumps on the hill (destroyed the sandman int he process, and drowning spidey...sending Zeus down to the depths of abaddon where he was born....*

*russian tanks are swept away in tsunami like forces of water and Lexicalized retakes the somewhat soggy hill*

*Shakes excess water our of feathers and grins fiercely, chewing on a spare russian or two...*

"Very good, very good...Kings of the Hill once more."

[Beren One-Hand]

*The defeat of Zeus and his followers did not go over very good with the supreme Lord of Waters himself - Ulmo.  Now Lex, you have angered one of the Valor, and will pay dearly for your insolence.  Ulmo emerges from the water to reclaim the hill for Beren.  Beren on the shore of the island/hill bows in reverence to the Valor.*

*Ulmo washes aways Lex and Shiona.  Shiona has already drowned and Lex tries to escape, to no avail.*

*Ulmo establishes Beren and Chaz (Chaz was found barely alive underneath a broken Russian tank) upon the hill as king's once again.*

*Dare now those insolent challengers, Lex and Shiona, to challenge the might of the Valor?  This is MET and the Valor cannot be defeated by mere mortals!*

[Shiona]

*Deep within her watery tomb, Shiona's spirit sits & thinks a bit*

"There's always Melkor" she muses.

* Decides that would be too risky - and anyway, start the Valar off against Melkor again and it'll destroy the whole of Arda, upon which the small but keenly contested hill sits. On the other hand, there are others she could approach..........*

*Shiona's spirit, carried by Ulmo's waters up into the atmosphere, condenses into cloud and communes with Ulmo's friend Manwe, guardian of the winds and airs, apologising profusely for her role in the battle of the hill so far, and promising to be more careful with her dragons in future.  Manwe forgives Shiona (just this once, mind) and, returning her to mortal form, sets her down on the mountain.*

"Phew, that was tricky" says Shiona. "Now, where were we?........"

[Lexicalized]

((I'm confused...am I alive or dead?  Love this game...))

*Lexicalized is overtaken by the great crashing waves of water, down into the depths she spirals, struggling not to breathe, even as her lungs ache for a breath.  To breathe would kill her, she knows this...Still...it's...so...hard...not...to...*

*Suddenly a thought pops into Lexicalized mind, shaking her head she laughs out loud and breathes in deeply..*

*She doesn't  breathe water in however, for she suddenly realized she's dreaming!*

"Silly me...Odd nightmares..." *opens eyes and looks around to find self once more sun tanning (still a phoenix) on the hill...*

 

[chaz]

lex claiming the hill; no matter my condition i can't allow that, besides the medicine is kicking in and your on my element....

now prepare yourself










*a giant earth dragon erupts from the hillside*

*the dragon picks up lex and throws her off the hill*
now we own the hill once again

[Lexicalized]

*lands on giant featherbed and bounces back up into the air*

*takes flight and dives down on earth dragon*

*After a massive fight, with blood pouring from each other's sides, the dragon adn Lexicalized suddenly wonder why they were fighting again...and take the hill side by side, eating icecream and looking up at a dazzling sunrise...*

[Beren One-Hand]

*Hmmm . . . Lex's little ice cream eating escapade leaves some key elements out of the equation.  What about Beren and Chaz, who were sharing the hill with the dragon?  Are all four now sharing the hill?  No mention was made about Beren and Chaz, so it will be assumed that they remained on the hill after the bloody dragon fight.  But the hill will not be shared with Lex and the ice cream eating dragon.  Be prepared for this . . . *

*Beren hires an old renegade priest he once knew to his use powers of levitation to levitate Lex and the dragon into outer space.  The renegade priest creates a copy of himself on the hill to represent the power of Beren and Chaz, and places a aura around the statue, so that any that should try and destroy it or land on the hill would be annihilated instantly.*

*Beren and Chaz are promoted to monkhood, thanks to their old friend the Renegade Priest.*

[Shiona]

*Shiona tries desperately to keep up with the intricate hand movement exercises illustrated by Chaz but
gives up in despair after reaching the end of the exercise and finding she has more than she started with*


*Peering at the boys from the mountain, she wonders what initiation terrors Chaz had to endure to
become a monk as it seems to have drastically speeded up the onset of old age. Annoyed though she is at
their dastardly plan, she creeps over the golden causeway to the shoreline of the hill (just out of reach of
the aura) and leaves an important token for Chaz......*


* Hah, if I can't land on, or retake their hill, I shall make life uncomfortable for them instead!" she laughs. Summoning
 one of those very annoying huge British Seagulls that divebomb holiday makers, she utters an incantaion and the
seagull quadruples in size. "Do your evil business!" she laughs, and the seagull takes to the air. Swooping low over
the boys, it drops it's payload, covering them in bird **** . Laughing hysterically, Shiona settles down for a good
night's sleep..........*
